I am stuffed...now where are those tarts?

Chef Larry did it again. Larry, his kitchen crew and the whole Aegis staff (almost) entertained and wowed the residents and families once again. Over 90 guests attended this fantastic Holiday Brunch last Saturday, December 15th.

The menu included bacon, sausage, French Toast, brochettas, chicken satay, quiche and roasted potatoes, pit ham, omelet bar, and tons of desserts.

Having been in this wonderful indsutry for quite a while and having been a part of dozens of events - I have never seen the turnout and support as I have seen at this community. The comments, accolades and overall happiness is unparralled. Way to go Larry!

A big thank you to all of the staff that made this event happen. Given I was out of town...I can't take any credit for another great turnout :)

Looking forward to our next event - Valentines Day Dinner with the Rat Pack!

Cheers ~

Aegis families show their suppport for Hopelink

WOW! What an impressive display our families put on opening their hearts, grocery bags and wallets for HopeLink over the past month. We asked families, residents and staff to donate, at their discretion, to either the HopeLink food drive or purchase an item from the HopeLink giving tree.

And boy did you give! More than 250 pounds of non-perishable food was donated and over 75 gifts were purchased this holiday season. Thank you everyone that gave something special.
